Who We Are
If you're checking out Christianity for the first time, or looking for a church to call home, you're most welcome. We're unpretentious and friendly, described by one visitor as 'a country church in the city.''. We're an evangelical Church committed to loving one another, the community and the world with the love of the Lord Jesus. Revesby Congregational Church was the first church in the Revesby area, serving a community of farmers and market gardeners. Over 100 years later we still seek to serve our changing community with the Good News about Jesus.
We belong to the Fellowship of Congregational Churches, which continues an evangelical Congregational witness after the formation of the Uniting Church in 1977. Congregationalism is over 350 years old, a Protestant movement that has its roots in the Puritans. It seeks to be faithful to the Bible and to the independence of local churches.
